myBBQRecipe is managed and operated by Maremmabbq.com ("Maremma BBQ"), which is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the online collection of personal information, as well as how such data is used and shared. The app can be used both in Italy and abroad.

By using the app, you accept the terms of this policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in this document. This policy applies whenever Maremma BBQ receives your personal data as a data controller.

  • Navigation paths in the app

We do not use cookies directly, but some third-party services might do so. Our authentication system is based on cookies managed by Clerk.com, while the database is provided by Supabase.com. These third-party services may use cookies to ensure proper functioning of authentication, security, and personalization of the user experience. Additionally, Apple, Google, or Microsoft, owners of their respective stores, may use cookies to personalize the experience.

Use of Personal Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Allow you to purchase goods and services

Marketing

We may send you communications about products, services, or news. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on "profile" > "open to receiving exclusive offers" or "interested in receiving suggestions" or by clicking on "unsubscribe" in the emails you may receive.

Affiliate Marketing

This means that if you click on one of these links and subsequently make a purchase, we may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you. Given the free nature of the app, these links help us support the development of the service and continue to offer you quality content and functionality. In any case, we confirm that we do not export to third parties the data collected in any form from the app.

  • Correct incorrect data

  • Receive your data in a portable format. The "export data" function allows you to download all your entered information.
  • Object to processing and withdraw consent at any time, using the flags "open to receiving exclusive offers", "interested in receiving suggestions"

Where Data is Stored

Data may be stored in Europe and the United States. We are committed to protecting it with appropriate security measures, even if local laws might offer different levels of protection.

Data Security

We use industry-accepted security standards. However, no online method is 100% secure. We invite you to keep your password secret. Authentication is guaranteed by the clerk.com service. We do not store passwords in the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion by writing to: support@maremmabbq.com
The data will be deleted within 60 days of the request.

App Personalization

With your consent, we may use your data to show you personalized offers or content of interest to you. We also collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our services.

Interactive Areas

If you participate in forums, blogs, or other interactive areas of the app, the data you publish may be visible to the public. We encourage you not to share personal information in these spaces.

Minors
